If you are a nature lover or just looking for peace and quiet, Gamtoos mouth resort is the place for you! The resort is situated right next to the Gamtoos River lagoon and a mere stroll over the isolated ever changing dunes to the sea.

One of the main pastimes here is fishing. The resort boasts its own private slipway and picnic spots for launching one’s boat onto the Gamtoos River as well as boat houses to let. The vision of the developer was to create a beautiful living area with log cabin style homes that fit in comfortably amongst the dense coastal vegetation. Ideal for the nature lover! The resort offers its own private walking trails where a myriad of indigenous bird and plant species can be seen.

The gated resort is well maintained with 24 hour security guards visible in the area. The levies are R475 per month (2024). The resort is about 25kms from Jeffrey’s bay and 50kms from Port Elizabeth.
