What our CEO shared with global real estate leaders

Leading real estate companies around the world are raising their game in the face of accelerating competition – and the key to success is providing a truly distinctive customer experience.

That was the message delivered by Berry Everitt, CEO of the Chas Everitt International property group at the recent Leading Real Estate Companies of the World® (LeadingRE) conference in Miami.

This prestigious event is attended annually by some 2000 brokers, managers and relocation professionals who head up the companies affiliated with Leading RE, an exclusive global network of the highest quality independent real estate brokerages that spans six continents and more than 65 countries.

 

Delegates this year focused on the dynamic factors impacting today’s real estate market and explored ways to best meet the needs of home buyers and sellers in the changing real estate environment.

 

Keynote speakers included John Foley, the former lead solo pilot of the Blue Angels; Josh Linkner, New York Times bestselling author, successful five-time entrepreneur, venture capitalist and national columnist and Marci Rossell, LeadingRE chief economist and an impressive line-up of industry thought-leaders, marketing strategists and technology innovators.

 

Everitt’s presentation examined company culture as a defence against accelerating competition and he explained how the strong family values at the heart of the Chas Everitt International brand have been amplified over the past two years by the group’s affiliation to LeadingRE.

“We were easily able to integrate this very powerful international brand and our own very distinctive local brand because of the unified culture we share with the LeadingRE affiliates in 65 other countries – that is, a culture of persistently seeking to build trust and loyalty by delivering an above-and-beyond experience to each customer.

“We already represented that ethic in our local market and as an affiliate of LeadingRE we can now not only connect our customers to the top brokerages around the world but do so confident in the knowledge that those brokerages all operate according to the same ‘code’ and will treat them exactly as we would.

“What is more, our customers have reacted very positively to the fact that the values we stand for have been given the highest international ‘stamp of approval’ with our affiliation with the LeadingRE network, and this has already opened many new doors for us and set us ahead of the competition in many instances.”

Everitt says he was honoured to be invited to speak at the LeadingRE conference and privileged to be able to interact with and learn from delegates from about 25 other countries.
