Top Kenton-On Sea Estate Agency Joins Chas Everitt

Kenton Estates is the latest leading estate agency to convert to the Chas Everitt International brand.

Established almost 40 years ago, Kenton Estates had been operating under a franchise agreement with another national real estate group for the past 18 years before converting to Chas Everitt in October.

New partner Steve Tredoux says the conversion to the Chas Everitt brand is part of an exciting new chapter for the agency. "We are delighted to be part of the group, which offers excellent business and marketing systems that will enable us to further streamline our client services. Chas Everitt's firm focus on a culture that places people first is an excellent fit with our own approach to real estate. Chas Everitt is the perfect fit for us and for Kenton-on-Sea."

The agency offers a full range of sales, letting and holiday rental services to a very loyal client base that extends beyond Kenton-on-Sea to Bushmansriver Mouth, Cannon Rocks and Bokness, “and we want them to know that although we may look new, it’s the same, familiar business at the end of Kenton Road,” he says.

However, although the re-branded agency will continue to offer building and renovation as part of its portfolio, it will also add new services now in its quest to offer a full spectrum of solutions to local homeowners and buyers.

“The agency has been working closely with Kenbush Construction for the past 40 years to offer clients add-on value. Now we also offer the water treatment solutions and pumps from renowned Australian water conservation company Davey. This will enable us to help improve the water quality from the water tanks that we all have in Kenton, and to offer local farming operations a quality solution.

"Then we are also geared to offer homeowners short-term insurance options through O’Neills Insurance, and we have also been appointed the Morsøfireplace agents for the area,” Tredoux says.

Kenton-on-Sea, halfway between Port Elizabeth and East London on the Sunshine Coast, remains a favourite holiday and retirement destination and the market has become more buoyant thanks to increased development.

Kenton property prices now range right up to around R13 million for top properties with great river or sea views. "For example, we currently have a six-bedroom home on our books at this price level that is perfectly positioned and is tastefully and fully furnished with antiques,” he says.

However, some of the original cottages in the area, popular amongst the traditionalists as well as holiday buyers looking for a charming seaside experience, are still available from around R1.2 million.
