Collaborating to be the agency of choice

At Chas Everitt, we've always believed that success in real estate is about more than closing deals; it's about building lasting relationships based on trust, innovation and a deep understanding of our clients' needs.

And as our leadership team gathered at our 2025 National Leadership Conference recently, we focused on being even better at meeting those needs through closer collaboration among ourselves, at every level of our organisation. Because we know that in today's rapidly evolving real estate market, working together to achieve our common vision is no longer optional, it's essential.

Everyone can see that the property market we operate in today is not the one we knew five or even two years ago. Buyers and sellers are more informed, their expectations are higher and technology is constantly reshaping how they engage with real estate. Rental markets are shifting too, and affordability remains a challenge for many.

The question is, how will we deal with these changes? Some real estate businesses will no doubt cling to old ways of thinking and outdated structures that no longer serve modern agents or their clients. But not us. At Chas Everitt, we embrace change and see challenges not as obstacles but as opportunities.

Our vision, plain and simple, is to be the leading real estate agency of choice, which is absolutely not about being cheaper or louder than other agencies. It's about being better, faster and the most trusted; the agency that clients know they can always depend on to meet their real estate needs and the team they are proud to recommend.

And we are acutely aware that this must go beyond intention or aspiration. It requires action, courage and a relentless commitment to improvement. It also means that every Chas Everitt team member is willing to adapt and make whatever changes are necessary to deliver consistent excellence, no matter where or how our clients engage with us.

To this end, we are always searching for new ways to simplify, enhance and personalise our clients' real estate experiences, to equip our teams with the very best training, technology and marketing resources and to empower our agents to make informed and insightful decisions that build client trust.

However, the key to really thriving in the current market, we believe, will be the closer collaboration we are now all committed to building, not just between our agents or teams, but between our leaders across the country. Collaboration means sharing knowledge and expertise, but also thinking "out of the box" and removing any organisational barriers and policies that get in the way of our collective success.

It also means getting everyone to be aware of the bigger picture while still focusing on their own corner of the puzzle, and on removing the geographic restrictions that were traditionally placed on agents but are no longer relevant or useful in a digital and often impersonal world, where continuity and familiarity have become priceless commodities.

In short, what most real estate clients want now is a long-term and even lifetime relationship with a single deeply trusted expert, who should be free to accompany them on their property journey even if that takes them to another city or country. And our renewed focus on collaboration is aimed at providing our clients with exactly that type of service, for their benefit and for our own.
