Dainfern is a mature residential development of 1239 houses that was brought to the market in 1991 By Johannesburg Consolidated Investments.  Within the borders of the Dainfern Residential Estate and Country Club is a Gary Player, 18 hole Championship Golf Course that hosted the South African Masters Golf Tournament as well as a Sunshine Tour event in 2019.
