The Dunkeld area, one of Johannesburg's oldest suburbs, borders Hyde Park, Illovo, Melrose, and Rosebank. It is a mixture of residential and commercial properties, with the latter not detracting from the tranquillity of the neighbourhood. Dunkeld's location is superb. Excellent Private Schools neighbour the suburb. Bluebird Pre Primary School is situated in Hume Rd & comes highly recommended. Both Wits Campus & UJ are no more than a 20-minute drive.
Living in Dunkeld, one is spoilt for choice when it comes to shopping options. Dunkeld West Centre has the renowned Fournos and Fisherman's Deli.
