I was born in Johannesburg, and lived my entire life in the surrounding areas of Randburg and Roodepoort. I attended Blairgowrie High School and matriculated in 1980. My teaching studies took me to the Johannesburg College of Education where I qualified in 1985. Schools I taught at include Sandown Primary, Sir Edmund Hillary Primary and Rand Park Primary. I taught my last five years at Grace Christian School and I was also the School Principal.

In 2006, I was offered the opportunity of moving into a career in Real Estate at Chas Everitt International Property Group. I have consistently been in the top achievers of Chas Everitt and have become a Master Agent - selling property in Eagle Canyon Golf Estate in Roodepoort.
